Every image available here has been optimized for large-format printing. These photos show textures and effects of light in much greater detail, thanks to the careful match between the scene lighting and the sensors' dynamic range. Only the highest quality lenses, primes and one L-series zoom, are used, usually at their optimal apertures. Careful editing in 16-bit mode preserved all that fine detail for sharp and clear prints. Check the detailed view of each photo to see just how much detail it contains.
